COVERING BABY PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE COTSWOLDS, WILTSHIRE AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE

I specialise in bespoke baby, child and family photography creating a collection of images both in the studio and outdoors.

 

My studio is located just outside Malmesbury in Wiltshire. This tends to be where we start. We then head out into the Cotswolds to do the location photos. Quite often I use Westonbirt Arboretum but we can of course use a location of your choice. With so many beautiful locations in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire we are spoilt for choice. The aim is to give you a collection of 20 family photos that you will treasure for a lifetime. If you are short for time you can choose to have just a studio session or just an outdoor session.

 

I can help with advice on organising outfits and also advise on keeping the children and babies happy during the shoot. For babies as with children I try to keep everything clothing related neutral. That way your baby will stand out. I have a few rompers here  you can borrow  (you can see them in the photos above)  and lots of girls dresses that you are more then welcome to use. For baby boys I would recommend a simple plain knit neutral romper or dungarees . For the Studio photos you don't want to many clothes on them as you want to see their beautiful skin and delicate features and of course all their cute rolls.

 

For the outdoor sessions I usually suggest the father or mother sing, dance and play games with the baby whilst I take the Photos. That way I can capture their most natural expressions. It is very much a baby and child led photoshoot catering around their needs. I like to describe it as one very long picnic.

After your baby is past the newborn phase of two weeks the next best time to have them photographed is when they can sit up on their own unaided. We can then do lots of baby photos in the studio and outdoors.

If you have an older child I will make the shoot plan to do some baby photography some child photography and a lot of sibling poses together.  Likewise if you want any mum and baby dad and baby or whole family photos I also encourage it. It is your photos session we can and will do what ever you want. 

​

As a mummy I know how precious your newborn baby is to you. I am one of the few Newborn Photographers to be awarded Associate Level Qualifications with both the Master Photographers Association and The Societies of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

 I take the safety of your baby safely and can assure your they will be in safe hands. I am CRB checked and hold an up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
