What age is best to do a Cotswolds Newborn Photography Photoshoot

As a Cotswold Newborn photographer this is what I get asked most. I would recommend your Cotswold Newborn Photography session to take place in the first two weeks of them being born then after that I would recommend waiting until they can sit up on their own. This tends to happen after 6 months. It is best to have your sitter photoshoot once they can sit up but before they are crawling. The next mile stone is once they can stand. Most people do a 1st Birthday photoshoot at this stage. I have shown some examples below of Newborn, Sitter and a one year old. Not all one year olds can stand unaided so I use decorated props to help them.
